Kessler Dixon was born in 1982 in Homer, Alaska. He was raised in Kenai, Alaska by parents who fed him art, music, and salmon from the time he was born. He moved to Washington in 1998, and later attended the University of Washington, majoring in Art History. After an unfortunate series of messy relationships, he decided to incorporate the catastrophic failure of his personal life into his art, and has never looked back.
Kessler draws with automatic pencils, paints in acrylic, and probably drinks more coffee than is strictly healthy. Most of his inspiration comes from women he is afraid to talk to, or who refuse to talk to him anymore. He enjoys jazz, metal, and salsa dancing, and currently resides in Seattle.
